Night Shift RN PCU Job

Overview

  • Patient population: Medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, stroke overflow
  • Unit size: 28 beds
  • Patient ratio: 1:4-5

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Notes

  • BLS must be AHA
  • ACLS must be AHA
  • Pharmacology and medical-surgical exams require a minimum score of 80%
  • Core competencies require a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score
  • EKG exam requires a passing score of at least 80%
  • Fit test is required for all travelers
  • Influenza vaccine is optional
  • Positive PPD / negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire are optional
  • Ascension Exit Survey is optional
  • Hiring manager evaluation is optional
  • Name change document is optional
