Valid RN license in Georgia
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Job Details

1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Must be able to monitor and read own telemetry
May float to other acute care units if competent
Every other weekend required
Holidays rotate with permanent staff
Charge nurse takes patients
No nurse aides
3-shift floor orientation

Clinical Setting

ICU/CCU setting
Common patient types include sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, and PE
Hospitalist is in house 24/7
Respiratory therapy is available 24/7
Vents are managed by respiratory therapy
Drips include Levophed, Diprivan, Epi, Cardizem, and Dopamine

Additional Notes

Strict 75-mile radius rule applies
Driver’s license must be included with submission
