Operating Room RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse, Operating Room

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Weekend coverage is required.
• Block scheduling is required.
• Floating between units is not required.
• On-call is not required.
• Expected patient ratio: 1:1.
• 48 hours are not approved.

Role Details

• This role covers an evening weekend OR position.
• The RN must be able to circulate a wide variety of urgent and emergent cases, including ortho and neuro.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
• Orthopedics experience.
• Neurology experience.
• NURSYS verification for RN.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• TNCC certification.
• NIH Stroke certification.
• EPIC familiarity is required.

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID.
• Social Security card, as applicable for I-9.
• E-Verify attestation.
• Background check.
• Washington state patrol search.
• Education verification.
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years.
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask clearance.
• Tdap within 10 years.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, COVID, and respirator clearance documentation.

• Parking is free.
• Scrub color for RNs is any color.
