Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location
Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Days
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating day/afternoon shifts
- May include 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Occasional weekends
- Holiday call may be discussed
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- BLS certification
- Must be able to circulate independently
- Must be able to take call as required
Assignment Details
- Operating room role in a level I trauma setting
- Floating may occur between two OR areas based on experience
- Travelers are expected to take standby call
- Call response time is 30 minutes
- Scrubbing is not required
- Travelers will not be placed in charge nurse or house supervisor roles
Experience Preferences
- Strong orthopedic background
- Strong ambulatory experience may be helpful for one OR area
Orientation
- Orientation is provided for both OR areas and includes EPIC orientation
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are provided
- Must submit only one position at a time across the system
- Driver’s license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- Previous permanent staff must be gone for 2 years before reapplying
- Previous travelers who completed 1 full year must be gone for 2 years before reapplying
- A current driver’s license copy must be included with submission
