Operating Room RN - Pediatrics
Overview
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Employment type: Long-term assignment
- Shift: 3x12s, weekdays
- Schedule: 06:30 - 19:00
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Supports circulating nurse and scrub nurse responsibilities in the operating room
- Works with the interdisciplinary team to support patient safety, sterile technique, and accurate clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- 1.5 years of Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year of OR RN experience
- Pediatric OR RN experience is a plus
