ER RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: Edmonds, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- TNCC certification
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Clinician must work 5 days per week on either Wednesday–Sunday or Thursday–Monday
- Guaranteed 3 shifts
- Extensions are available if scheduling requirements are consistently met
- Unit areas include Adult/Pedi ER, Ambulance Triage, ED Holding, and Lobby Triage
Orientation and Training
- Orientation is 2 days: 1 virtual and 1 unit
- Virtual orientation modules total about 22 hours
- Point of Care training is required for ER and is completed onsite
- Additional required pre-start modules apply for per diem candidates
Additional Notes
- Returning employees may apply after a 6-month separation from any Providence/Swedish facility
- Travelers may not work at one Providence facility while also accepting a travel job at another Providence facility
- COVID vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions only
