RN Oncology Outpatient
Location
- Raleigh, North Carolina
Schedule
- Days
- 8-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Shift options: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Contract Length
- 26 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
- Chemotherapy Certification
Role Overview
- Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
- Supports patient education, care planning, assessment, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required for the care plan
