Job Overview
- Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours

- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Background check within 30 days of start
- Pennsylvania state-specific background screening within 30 days of start
- Pennsylvania FBI fingerprint clearance within 90 days of start
- Pennsylvania child abuse search within 90 days of start
- Pennsylvania PATCH search within 90 days of start
- Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results within 90 days of start
- Drug screen within 60 days of start
- Physical exam within 2 months of start
- TB clearance within 90 days of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- COVID-19 vaccination or declination
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Respirator clearance required for starts on or after 04/07/2025
- Minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start
- Employment application with 7 years of work history and explanations for gaps over 90 days
- State license verification
- Nursys verification
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Pass/fail testing
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 12 months of start
- Pennsylvania child abuse search
- Pennsylvania PATCH search
- Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results
Notes
- Background check must cover all locations lived or worked in the past 7 years
- International searches are required if applicable
- Instant background searches are not acceptable
- If fingerprints are completed outside Pennsylvania, there is a $25 out-of-state fee that is not reimbursed
