MRI Technologist

Little Rock, Arkansas

- Days
- Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Call required: one week at a time every 3rd week
- Weekend call required every 3rd weekend
- Holiday call required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification in MRI
- Arkansas state license
- Experience starting IVs
Department Details
- MRI department with 2 scanners/rooms
- One scanner is a mobile unit
- No floating to other areas
- In-house radiologist on day shift
- No Registered Radiology Assistants used
Common Procedures
- Cardiac MRI
- MRI/MRA of different anatomy
- MRCP
- No breast MRI imaging
Equipment / Systems
- GE equipment
- Siemens mobile unit
- PACS and charting systems used in the department
Orientation
- 10 shifts of unit-specific orientation
Dress Code
- Royal blue scrubs
- Hospital scrubs can be provided if needed
