Home Health RN

Overview

• Travel/contract registered nurse role in Owings Mills, Maryland
• Home health setting
• Day shift, 5x8 hours
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 14 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Home Health (2 years of experience)
• Home Health experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association or United States Department of Defense
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting
• Driver's License
• Wound VAC experience
• IV therapy and home infusion experience
• Central line and port care experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Feeding tube management experience
• G-tube management experience
• Ostomy management experience
• Experience with OASIS

Schedule and Work Expectations

• 6 visits per day
• Productivity expectation of 30 points per week
• Primarily covers Baltimore County with support for Baltimore City as needed
• Weekends may be required
• On-call coverage may be requested based on need
• One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract

Patient Population

• Primarily geriatric

Documentation and Charting

• Charting system: WellSky/Kinnser
• Visit notes and other documentation must be submitted within 24–48 hours of the visit

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Locals are accepted
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Scrubs or business casual attire is required
