Respiratory Therapist

Location

  • Fort Wayne, Indiana

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • 12-hour day shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend
  • Call as needed
  • Does not work alone

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • 5 years of experience preferred as a credentialed respiratory care practitioner
  • Adult intubation skill

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic respiratory care across patient populations
  • Review and maintain care plans
  • Perform patient evaluations and adjust care as needed
  • Support distressed newborn and C-section care

Additional Details

  • No floating
  • Black scrubs required
  • Orientation includes required training and department-specific training up to 3 weeks
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are subject to a local rate adjustment
