NICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 8 weeks
Shift: Rotating days/nights, 3x12-hour shifts
Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
Floating: May float to other critical care units
First-time travelers: Not accepted
Local candidates: Accepted
On-call: Not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Recent Tracheostomy and Ventilator experience

Additional Requirements

Must be able to rotate shifts every 3–4 weeks
No more than 7 days of requested time off
Missed shifts must be made up within the same week
No background check or license hits allowed
Must provide a photo after contract signature if offered and accepted
