Cardiac Ultrasound Tech
Location
Newton, Massachusetts
Assignment Length
13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- 2 years of Cardiac Sonographer experience
- Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection

- Perform quality echocardiogram studies
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Use technical judgment to function unsupervised
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail
- Manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Onboarding Requirements
- Resume with the past 7 years of work experience and city/state for work and education
- 2 references from within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Background checks and verification steps required before start
- Health screening and immunization documentation required before start
- Fit test and respirator medical clearance required if applicable to the role
