RN - Surgery

Schedule

  • 4 days per week, 10 hours per day

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Mexico
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to speak additional languages

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process
  • Document assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, and management to address patient care needs
  • Follow medication administration rights and organizational policies
  • Support patient advocacy, confidentiality, cultural and religious respect, and end-of-life care
  • Participate in quality activities, compliance training, orientation, and annual competencies
  • Maintain professionalism, teamwork, time management, and reliable attendance
