Description
Surgical Tech
Location
- Kearney, Nebraska
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 8-hour shifts
- Starts at 0700, Monday through Friday
- Same schedule week to week
- Call required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Call response time: 15 minutes
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Driver’s license required at submittal
- Experience handing open heart procedures
- Experience working in a general OR
Role Details
- CVOR-focused surgical tech role
- Will also work in general OR cases when not doing cardiovascular cases
- Must be able to support other specialties such as ortho, general, ENT, and urology when needed
- Scrubbing is not required for RNs
- One week of unit-specific orientation
Additional Notes
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- Scrubs are provided
- Radius rule: candidates must live more than 50 miles away
- Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
