• 6:00 PM–7:30 AM
• On-call rotation
• 20-week contract

Job Summary

• Provides patient care in the invasive lab for invasive cardiology and invasive radiology procedures.
• Assists the physician during procedures and may function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis.
• Required to float to all procedural areas.
• May work variable shifts and take interventional call.

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (R)
• Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in radiologic technology
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro interventional experience
• EP experience

Key Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material and medications within scope of practice
• Assists with invasive procedure setup and patient preparation
• Maintains a sterile field during procedures
• Monitors patients and responds to allergic or hypersensitivity reactions
• Documents care accurately and completely
• Supports patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality
• Operates and troubleshoots imaging and physiological monitoring equipment
