Respiratory Therapist, NICU
Location
- Snellville, Georgia
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 12-week contract
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Neonates to pediatrics patient population
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
- Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Umbilical cord gases experience
- Draeger equipment experience
- Servo I equipment experience
- Pulmonary toileting
- BiPAP experience
- CPAP experience
- Trach collar experience
- Surfactant administration
- Experience with Epic
Work Setting / Expectations
- Floating within the facility, including adult care, and possibly to a sister campus
- Every other weekend
- On-call may be available during volume variation
- Must work assigned major holidays as scheduled
- Hunter green scrubs
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Full compliance required before start

- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Drug screen
