Respiratory Therapist, NICU

Location

Snellville, Georgia

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
12-week contract
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Neonates to pediatrics patient population
First-time travelers accepted
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with High Risk patients
Umbilical cord gases experience
Draeger equipment experience
Servo I equipment experience
Pulmonary toileting
BiPAP experience
CPAP experience
Trach collar experience
Surfactant administration
Experience with Epic

Work Setting / Expectations

Floating within the facility, including adult care, and possibly to a sister campus
Every other weekend
On-call may be available during volume variation
Must work assigned major holidays as scheduled
Hunter green scrubs
