Clinic RN – Radiation Oncology
Location
- Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Schedule
- 4x10-hour shifts on weekdays
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care for patients undergoing radiation oncology treatment
- Assesses patients, provides nursing interventions, and supports patients and families through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Assists with patient evaluation and examination with the Radiation Oncologist
- Serves as a liaison between Radiation Oncology and other departments, hospitals, physician offices, and support resources
- Helps coordinate referrals for recovery, rehabilitation, nursing home care, hospice, and nutritional services

- Ability to coordinate oncology patient care with interdisciplinary staff
- Flexibility and strong organization
- Ability to care for patients across varying age groups and cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management
- Familiarity with current oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity practices

Additional Notes
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Colorado CAPS registration may take up to two weeks to obtain
- Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays for clinic workers
