Description
Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
Location
- Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 4 ten-hour rotating day shifts per week
- One weekend per month
- 12 hours of call per month
- Holidays required as needed and scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Trauma Level I experience
- OR experience
- Proficiency in trauma, imaging, and portable X-rays
- Proficiency in C-Arm procedures
- ARRT (R)
- AHA BLS
- Nebraska license
Job Duties
- Fluoro/diagnostic X-rays for inpatients and ED patients
- Portable X-rays on patient floors
- C-Arm procedures in the OR
Work Setting
- ED and diagnostic department coverage
- Responsible for a portion of portable exams on the floors
Orientation
- Begins with NEO and departmental on-the-job training
Additional Notes
- Trauma experience is preferred
- Fluoroscopy is minimal but possible
- No support staff except on the floors
- Candidate should be a self-starter, work well on a team, and adapt to changing situations
