RN LDRP/OB Nights
Job Details
- Location: Grants, New Mexico
- Employment type: Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour rotating nights
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NRP
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- SAFER NM Technician certification
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Deliver direct patient care across the lifespan
- Provide education to patients and families
- Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel
- Maintain documentation in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and professional development
- Float to other departments as needed
