    Description

    Mammography Tech

    Overview

    • Travel allied healthcare role in Salinas, California.
    • Full-time schedule: swing shift, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform mammograms and bone density studies.
    • Assist the radiologist with needle localization, stereotactic biopsy, and galactogram procedures.
    • Support quality assurance activities related to mammography and bone density.
    • Obtain or review patient history and physician orders, explain procedures, and complete documentation.
    • Assist with scheduling patient exams and report patient condition changes as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
    • Mammography Technologist (1 year of experience)
    • Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
    • ARRT (R)
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association
    • Completion of a two-year radiologic technology training program
    • Experience with Epic

    Preferred Experience

    • 1 year of experience as a licensed mammography technologist.

    Schedule Details

    • Rotating Saturdays: 2 Saturdays every 11 weeks.
    • A weekday off is provided when scheduled on Saturday.
