Mammography Tech
Overview
- Travel allied healthcare role in Salinas, California.
- Full-time schedule: swing shift, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mammograms and bone density studies.
- Assist the radiologist with needle localization, stereotactic biopsy, and galactogram procedures.
- Support quality assurance activities related to mammography and bone density.
- Obtain or review patient history and physician orders, explain procedures, and complete documentation.
- Assist with scheduling patient exams and report patient condition changes as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
- Mammography Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Completion of a two-year radiologic technology training program
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- 1 year of experience as a licensed mammography technologist.
Schedule Details
- Rotating Saturdays: 2 Saturdays every 11 weeks.
- A weekday off is provided when scheduled on Saturday.
