Registered Nurse (RN) — Med Surg/Telemetry

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Insulin drip experience
- Cardizem drip experience
- Heparin drip experience
- Amiodarone drip experience
- Orthopedic and general surgery care experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Telemetry experience
- EPIC charting experience
Additional Job Details
- Must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- 1st time travelers accepted
- Responsible for reading and measuring telemetry strips
- Ratios: 5:1
- Unit size: 16 beds
- Patient types include telemetry, post-op surgical, ortho, and general
- Required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- 16-hour NBO
- Billable overtime applies after 40 hours per week, and after 48 hours per week in a separate threshold noted in the source
