Telemetry RN Travel Assignment
Job Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky

Unit Details
- Unit: Telemetry
- Bed count: 36
- Patient ratio: 4:1 with cath recovery; up to 6:1, and at times 7:1
- Scheduling: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float first to Ortho/Med-Surg
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Knowledge of chest tubes
- Dysrhythmia training
Skills and Clinical Exposure
- Knowledge of chest tubes
- Dysthymia training
- Chest tube insertions
- Bedside paracentesis and thoracentesis
Work Environment
- Remote telemetry monitors
- Alaris pumps
- Meditech documentation system
Dress Code
- Any scrubs except camo
