Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NBRC
- NRP
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- ICU experience
- ED (Emergency Department) experience
- Ability to draw ABGs
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Servo I ventilator
- Experience with I-Stat
Unit Skills and Procedures
- Assist with intubation
- Nebulizer treatment
- Metaneb
- IPPB
- CPT
- ABGs
Patient Population
- All age ranges
Additional Notes
- Black scrubs required and must be purchased by the worker
- Meditech documentation system used on the unit
