Description
RN - Tele
Role Overview
- Travel RN position in Alexandria, Louisiana
- Full-time
- 7AM–7PM shift
- Start: ASAP
- Temp-to-perm is a possibility
Unit / Patient Population
- Cares for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and some med-surg overflow
- Unit manages cardiac drips
Schedule
- Every other weekend required
- No call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of telemetry experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Work Environment
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
- Dress code: ceil blue scrubs
Additional Notes
- New hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days
- New hires complete onboarding and competency validation with a preceptor
- Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency or other orientation program
- Annual competency verification is required
