Job Overview

• Scrub experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• OR - Operating Room (1.5 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Possible alternate shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Onboarding / Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Background check required before start
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
• Monthly HHS/OIG check required
• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification required within 30 days of start
• Core competencies required and updated annually
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• 2 references required from employment within 1 year of start

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
• Tdap vaccination every 10 years
• TB screening within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and drug screening requirements apply
• Flu documentation required seasonally

Notes

• Baseline competency exam in medication and ECG is required for all bedside RNs except OR RNs
• CNOR is preferred, not required
• PALS is preferred, not required for PACU
• TNCC is preferred, not required for ER
• Scrub experience is preferred
