Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- PALS issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- NRP.
- Driver's License.
Onboarding / Compliance Requirements
- Ascension RT Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation must be completed after the pre-hire 6 hours.
- Core competencies must be completed within one year of start, updated every 3 years, with a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark.
- Skills checklist must be completed within one year of start and updated annually.
- Criminal background check is required.
- EPLS screening is required.
- Biometric consent is required.
- Non-Nursing Contingent Worker Pre-Hire Modules/Attestation Illinois is required.
- Badge photo is required.
- Confirmation of assignment is required on agency letterhead.
- Signed assignment agreement is required.
- Health statement is required.
- MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Fit Test, and TB screening are required.
- 12-panel drug screen is required.
Additional Notes
- The role is in a Level III NICU/PICU setting.
- Flu vaccination is listed as optional, with declinations/exemptions accepted.
