- Colorado Springs, Colorado
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Days, 12 hours per day
- Typical shift time: 0630-1700
Required Qualifications
- Active RN role
- BLS certification
- Open heart experience and/or endovascular experience
- Must be able to scrub to hold the heart and help close the chest
- Driver’s license must be submitted
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
Schedule Expectations
- One weekday call per week
- One weekend call per month, rotating with staff
- Holiday call is not required, but preferred if available
Floating
- May float to General OR when there are no CVOR cases
- May float to PRN General OR
- In an extreme need, may float within Zone 1
Orientation
- 1 week of unit orientation
- Must be in state for the orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote
Additional Details
- 16 suites, including 3 CVOR suites
- Average of 30 cases per day
- Common cases include open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic cases
- Call response time is 30 minutes
- Hospital-provided scrubs: light blue
