Registered Nurse — Med/Surg Telemetry

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Warrensville Heights, Ohio
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract options listed as 13–20 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• 48 hours per week

Onboarding / Compliance

• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification required within 30 days of start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance required within 12 months of start
• Tdap documentation required
• TB screening required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
• Drug screening required within 12 months of start
• Flu documentation required seasonally
• References required
• Skills checklist required annually
• Employment application must include prior work history and acute care clinical experience

Orientation / Training

• Facility onboarding modules must be completed before start
• Baseline competency testing in medication and ECG is required for bedside RNs except OR RNs

Additional Notes

• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried while on assignment
• Latex allergy can be accommodated if disclosed
• Candidates may start with fingerprint results pending if fingerprinting is completed before start
