Description
Registered Nurse — IMU
Location
- Bridgeport, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- 12-hour nights
Hours
- 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- 18-bed IMU
- Typical step-down patient population
- Common diagnoses include post-MI with sheath pull, ADHS, post-op vascular, GI bleed, and DKA
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to titrate drips
Clinical Responsibilities
- Telemetry monitoring on all patients; RNs read strips
- Titrate nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene drips
Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend
- Holiday coverage on an every-other-holiday schedule
- No call or standby requirement
Unit Support
- Charge nurse and house supervisor available
- One PCT per shift
Equipment
- BiPAP
- CPAP
Floating
- Float PRN
Dress Code
- Royal scrubs
- Undershirts may be white, royal blue, or black
