Ultrasound Technologist - Inpatient

- 5:00am–5:30pm
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No call
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 3 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- One 13-week or more of total travel experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- RCS or RVS
- RDMS or RVT or RDCS
- Experience in breast imaging, diagnostics, biopsies, and whole breast ultrasound
Job Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in inpatient settings
- Work across cardiac, vascular, or general ultrasound areas, depending on specialization
- Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and related imaging systems
- Review images for identification, technique, and completeness
- Perform ultrasound-guided or related invasive procedures as allowed by policy
- Train new staff and sonography students
- Support accreditation and re-accreditation activities
- Float as needed within competency level
- Pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
