Description

Radiology Technician

Overview

  • Temporary 13-week assignment
  • Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Role Summary

  • Independently performs imaging exams without supervision in the assigned section
  • Operates X-ray, mammography, and bone density equipment
  • Reviews requisitions, evaluates diagnostic films, performs quality control, trains employees and students, and supports department communication and patient scheduling
  • Uses radiology-related computer systems, including RIS, CIS, and PACS

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in Rhode Island
  • Radiology Technician experience within the last year
  • 3 years of Radiology Technician experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ARRT certification
  • Associate's degree or higher in radiology technology
  • Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination series or bivalent booster
  • MMR immunization or positive titers for all three
  • Fit test within 1 year of start
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination
  • Two-step PPD or IGRA completed within the last year
  • Varicella immunization or positive titer
  • Tdap immunization within 10 years
  • Criminal background check within 6 months of start
  • Signed non-employee confidentiality agreement
  • Employment verification for the last 5 years
  • Completed work attestation
  • Badge photo
  • Occ health clearance form
  • First look orientation packet and required forms/testing
  • Annual completion of the COVID and flu policy form
