Description
Mammography Technologist
Location
- Red Bank, New Jersey
Schedule
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- 4x10 or 5x8 schedule
- Weekend work required as needed
- Holiday and on-call coverage not required
- Float coverage not required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in New Jersey
- 3 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations
- Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiology-guided breast procedures
- Support quality control and quality assurance documentation for mammography
- Provide patient education and procedure instructions
- Prepare imaging cases and maintain related documentation and statistics
Preferred Experience
- Experience with stereotactic breast biopsy
- Experience with bone density
- Strong interpersonal patient care skills
