Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Location
- Gilbert, Arizona
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Nights
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS
- Active ACLS
- Active Arizona RN license or compact license
- 2 years of ER/Trauma experience
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved declination with documentation
- Dysrhythmia exam required before start
- Pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation
- Moderate conscious sedation competency testing
Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend
- Must work 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season
- Start times vary; flexibility is required
Work Setting
- Emergency room with 31 beds
- Ratios: 1:3-4
- Charge nurse and unit secretary present
- Paramedics and CNAs support the unit
- RT and pharmacy available 24/7

- High-risk OB
- Psych holds
- Cardioversions
- Conscious sedation for closed fractures
- 11% pediatric population
Floating
- May float between Gilbert and Chandler ER locations
