Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Indianapolis, Indiana
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Weekends preferred
• Call required
• Floating required to multi-specialty and all surgeries
• Indiana residents are not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience in Operating Room
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• 2 years of transplant experience
• Kidney transplant experience
• Liver transplant experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Regulatory charting for transplants

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Call: 40–60 hours per 6-week period
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Guaranteed hours vary by shift pattern; this posting lists 36 hours per week for 3x12s

Unit Information

• Abdominal transplant OR
• Procedures include kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral transplants
• Pediatric transplants are not part of this assignment

Compliance and Pre-Start Items

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
• References: 2 recent employment references required
• Employment application must be current and explain gaps of 30 days or more
• Skills checklist required within 12 months of start and annually
• Background check and license verification required before start
• Orientation and facility-specific compliance documents required before start
