• Cardiac telemetry / step-down setting
• Overflow IMCU

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience managing continuous IV cardiac medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips

Clinical Skills / Experience

• Arrhythmia management
• Cardioversion
• Cardiac CHF
• Chest pain
• Renal
• Pulmonary conditions including COPD and pulmonary edema
• PE and DVT
• Stable A-fib, SVT, and bradycardia
• Surgical overflow including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, chest tubes, and biliary drains
• Occasional vascular patients
• Post-cardiac cath care
• TR bands
• DKA
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge

Work Conditions

• Ratio: 1:5-6
• 32-bed unit
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Call is rare with a 2-hour response time
• Typically every other weekend
• Major holidays may be required based on assignment dates
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Navy blue scrubs
