    Surgical Tech

    Location

    • Colorado Springs, Colorado

    Contract Length

    • 13 weeks

    Schedule

    • Days, 10 hours per day
    • 36 hours per week
    • Set schedule with option to block schedule

    Required Qualifications

    • BLS
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA
    • Colorado DORA credential
    • Driver’s license must be submitted

    Experience / Skills

    • General, neuro, and robotics experience or skills

    Call / Weekend Requirements

    • About 120 total call hours per contract, self-scheduled between weekday and weekend
    • One weekend shift required every 6 weeks
    • Holiday call is preferred, not required
    • Call response time is 30 minutes

    Unit Details

    • 16 operating suites
    • About 30 cases per day
    • Common cases include general, ortho, robotics, neuro, spine, urology, and ENT

    Orientation

    • 1 week of orientation
    • Clinicians must be in state for orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote

    Additional Notes

    • Scrubs are provided
    • May float within Zone 1 only if there is an extreme need
