Surgical Tech
Location
Soldotna, Alaska
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Days
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Call rotation for evenings, nights, and weekends
- Minimum of 5 call shifts within 30 days
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- Certification for Sterile Processing
- 2+ years of experience
- Basic sterilization and aseptic technique
- Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment
Job Duties
- Support surgical procedures across urology, general, orthopedic, gynecology, spine, robotic, ENT, and endoscopy
- Scrub independently after initial orientation
- Handle surgical instrumentation take-down and setup
- Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety
Department Details
- Floating to Endoscopy
- 4 ORs, 1 procedure room, and 2 GI suites
Orientation
- Preceptor support for 2–3 days at onboarding
