Description

Operating Room Nurse

Location

  • Selma, Alabama

Job Type

  • Travel
  • 40 hours per week

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Call required 7 days per month, including one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Alabama
  • 4 years of Operating Room experience
  • Operating Room experience within the last year
  • Experience in a hospital setting
  • ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by the American Heart Association
  • Endoscopy experience

Preferred Experience

  • ENT and GYN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in the operating room as part of the surgical team
  • Assist with surgical cases, including scrubbing and assisting physicians
  • Ensure supplies are available and cases remain timely
  • Communicate with families
  • Update physician preference cards
  • Supervise personnel delivering patient care
