Job Overview

• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Daily caseload: 25 patients per tech
• On-call: Required, one week on call followed by two weeks off
• Floating: Not required
• Local candidates: Accepted
• First-time travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• EKG Technician experience
• Electrophysiology Technician experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong IR experience

Clinical Skills / Experience

• Scrub, monitor, and circulate
• Balloon angioplasty
• PCI
• Stents
• Thrombectomy
• Coil embolization
• Filter placement
• Pacemaker/defib device placement
• Impella insertion
• Left heart catheterization
• Right heart catheterization
• IR procedures including thoracentesis, peripheral, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary, vascular studies, and venous access
• EKG-related experience including pacemakers, rhythm interpretation, sinus node rhythms, and Holter monitoring
• EP experience including baseline measurements and insertion/programming of AICDs and pacemakers

Additional Notes

• Hybrid lab performing both Cardiac Cath and IR cases
• No neuro cases or structural heart cases
• Cerner familiarity preferred
