Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
Schedule / Assignment Details
- Patient ratio: 1:12 using a team nursing model
- On-call as needed
- Weekend coverage as needed
- Block scheduling is not routinely accommodated; weekend block may be considered during interview
- First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 5+ years of specialty experience
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
- Pending license is not accepted
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
Additional Notes
- Medical-surgical telemetry unit in a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center
- Navy blue scrubs are required for RNs
