Physical Therapist — Inpatient Rehab

Role Overview

• Travel/contract physical therapist position in a rural critical access hospital setting.
• The role includes outpatient, inpatient, home visit, and swing bed program care.
• The therapist will evaluate patients, plan treatment, and help improve mobility, reduce pain, and independence.

Schedule

• Day shift
• 5x8-hour schedule
• 34–40 hours per week depending on census or caseload
• Weekend coverage every 3rd weekend
• Block scheduling may be accommodated
• On-call is not required
• Floating to sister facilities is not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Montana
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening required annually
• HHS/OIG screening required annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• N95 fit test within 12 months of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test within 1 year of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/documentation required
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
• Skills checklist required annually
