Radiation Therapist
Location
- Kearney, Nebraska
Schedule
- Days
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Typical schedule: 4 days per week, 32 hours
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- BLS (AHA)
- Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T)
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy Program
- Driver’s license required at submittal
- Must be outside the 50-mile radius
- Cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity
Job Responsibilities
- Administer radiation to patients
- Perform CT simulations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proficiency in administering radiation therapy
- CT experience
- Patient care experience
- Good communication skills
Additional Notes
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- Varian TrueBeam experience is preferred
- No weekend or holiday shifts
- Does not float
