Description

Cath Lab Technologist

Location

  • Soldotna, Alaska

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Day shift
  • 8 hours per day
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT or RCIS
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Graduation from an approved school of radiologic technology
  • 2 years of diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab experience

Job Duties

  • Supports physicians during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
  • Performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties
  • Assists in the holding area
  • Provides patient assessment and care before, during, and after procedures
  • Prepares and maintains procedure-related information

Schedule

  • Five 8-hour shifts per week
  • Call is required
  • Some weekends may be required

Additional Details

  • Local placements accepted
  • Scrubs required
  • Unit orientation is provided on the first day onsite, with department-specific orientation afterward
