Description

Registered Nurse — Med-Surg Telemetry

Location

  • Jacksonville, North Carolina

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Travel/contract assignment
  • Start date: 10/19

Schedule

  • Day shift, 3x12 hours
  • 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Weekends and holidays included
  • No call
  • Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated

Patient Care Setting

  • Med-Surg Telemetry unit
  • May take IMCU patients if needed based on census
  • Expected to float to like acuities or lower if needed
  • Typical patient populations include cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics
  • Ratio: 1:6

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • CPI
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

  • No locals within a 50-mile radius
  • RTO must be included with submission to be honored at offer
  • Minimal to no holiday RTO
  • Meditech experience is preferred
  • License hits are not accepted
