Description
Surgical Tech
Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour days
Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Vascular/endovascular experience
Schedule
- Rotating weekday call
- Rotating weekend call
Work Setting / Case Mix
- Fast-paced OR with 11 major rooms and 2 minor rooms
- May circulate C-sections
- Cases include orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, and OB/GYN
- Approximately 30–45 patients per day
- Two techs are assigned to each room, with an additional RN sometimes present
