Sonographer
Location
- Tacoma, Washington
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day shift
Setting
- Maternal fetal medicine clinic
- High-risk outpatient setting
- Scans pregnant patients only
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- ARDMS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Maternal fetal medicine experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
- Self-starter and team player
- Performs detailed anatomy, BPP, growth, Dopplers, and twin studies
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Either 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch
Additional Details
- Average of 8–10 studies per day
- No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirement
- Scrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable
- Department orientation includes partnering with an experienced tech
- Main location is in Tacoma, with additional sites in Lakewood, Gig Harbor, and Federal Way
- Uses ViewPoint with EPIC/PACS integration
