RN Flex Pool - Days
Location
- Hilo, Hawaii
Contract
- 15 weeks
- Contract role
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts, 0645 to 1915
- 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
- No guarantee of hours
Role Overview
- Floats between various medical and surgical units
- May float to the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and, on rare occasions, the Cardiovascular Unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of float experience
- Float experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Stepdown experience
- Cardiovascular Unit experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS
- Procedural Sedation
- TNCC
- ENPC
Unit Details
- Medical unit: 77 beds
- Laulima unit: 18 beds
- Cardiovascular unit: 15 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratios vary by unit and shift
Orientation
- Orientation time is provided for each unit
Additional Notes
- Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday
