Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in West Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CVOR experience within the last year
- 2 years of CVOR experience
- One completed travel assignment
- Thoracic Surgery experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
Job Details
- Unit orientation: 1 week
- Mandatory call required
- Call schedule: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- May float within other services of the OR
- Open to direct hire or permanent opportunities
Clinical Experience
- Cardiac surgery cases include CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, and transplant
- Thoracic surgery cases include robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures
- Vascular surgery cases include angiography, endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair, visceral arterial repair/intervention, and amputation
Additional Notes
- Onboarding starts at another location for at least 1 week before moving to the assigned facility
- Ceil blue surgical scrubs are provided
- Housing is available for call coverage, at additional cost
