Cardiopulmonary Job in Hawaii

Overview

  • Contract role in Hilo, Hawaii
  • 15-week assignment
  • Day shift: 0630-1900, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • No guarantee of hours

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Respiratory Technician experience

Preferred

  • PALS with NRP preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Continuous airway management
  • Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
  • Physician consulting
  • CPR
  • Full respiratory care support

Equipment / Systems

  • Computerized charting
  • Pyxis medication management
  • PB 980
  • PB 840 ventilators
  • V60
  • Para Pac transport ventilator

Additional Requirements

  • Flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required before contract start
  • Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appointment on Friday
  • No first assignments
